Group Settings

We divide our participants into groups of brothers and sisters. Our online events are divided into breakout rooms with a moderator assigned to each, while our in-person events have physical tables with moderators circulating.

Activities, Discussions & Ice Breakers

We know these situations can be nerve-wracking, so we always start with a first round of introductions. The brothers are then asked to rotate to the next group and we start off with ice breakers. The following rotations will involve activities and thought-provoking questions designed to help you learn about the members in your group.

Online Events

Cameras on! With our online events, you are welcome to have someone in the room with you, like a mahram, as long as they are not visible and aren’t distracting! At the end of the breakout rooms, all participants regroup in the main zoom meeting for a final activity involving everyone.

In-Person Events

Meeting in person has its own special way of connecting individuals. Bring along one of your single friends who’s also looking to get married if you’re nervous! In-person events always have snack/social time at the end where you can approach the moderators to help you connect with other individuals.

It doesn’t have to seem intimidating!

Connect

Met individuals you’re interested in? Fill out a biodata and email us the names of the individuals. We’ll then send your biodata to them and they can contact you directly if there is mutual interest!

Guest Speaker

We start off our events with a short speech and khatira by our guest speaker. This is a nice islamic reminder on the topic of marriage and gives you some time to settle in!
